UK Tour Report & Merch news

The mood in the Tribe camp is very upbeat right now as the band return from their first full UK tour.

The band headed out along with Swedish metal legends Hammerfall and Dream Evil, "It was kinda strange at the start of the tour, being as we where the only UK band on the bill, and it was on our home soil", explains Adam, "But everyone soon got to know each other and all the bands got on great, the tour from our prespective was definatley a real triumph. We have got used to taking Tribe to audiences abroad, so a full tour here re-enforced our belief that metal music is still alive and well in our own country".

"It was also cool to visit cities in the UK which we hadn't up until now taken Tribe to, and give our fans chance to see the band in the flesh, also the Hammerfall and Dream Evil fans where really great to us, they certainly know how to have a good time!."

"We where pretty worried prior to the tour as Paul was stuck out of the country due to the Icelandic volcano situation, and at one stage we even discussed what we would do if he didnt make it back, he also missed all the tour rehearsals, which made for an interesting first night in Manchester!."

The funniest moment of the tour has to the apearance of "the shrek of heavy metal" during Dream Evil's final song on the last night in London, video footage of this will appear shortly, so watch this space. Adam explains "Patrick, Dream Evil's skinsman commented that I bore a striking resemblence to the green fella earlier in the tour, and obviously this stuck ..So there was only ever gonna be one must-do prank for the last night of the tour, and it certainly got the laughs!"

Finally we have kept the special price on the T Shirt and CD merch bundles on for a while longer, for those of you who ran out of funds at the shows ..and anyone else who wants to take advantage of the offer, but remember once the limited stock has gone the offer finishes, so dont leave it too long to visit the Tribe online store.
